Dr. Ingrid Hernández Cordero

Medical Specialists on Radiology and Medical Imaging. Graduated with honors from the University of Costa Rica in 2009, she counts with a master degree on Health Services Management, graduated in 2009. Since 2012 she became a densitometrist and she is a member of the International Society for Clinical Densitometry.

Dr. Wendy Madriz Meza

Specialist in Radiology and Medical Imaging. Graduated from Universidad de Costa Rica. Sub Specialist on Mammary Radiology at the Hospital Universitario Quirón and Hospital Doce de Octubre in Madrid, Spain. Postgraduate professor at Universidad de Costa Rica.

Dr. Bruno Solís Ugalde

Radiology and Image Residency at Hospital Civil Antiguo Guadalajara in 2010. Has a high specialty post degree on Thoracic, Abdominal and Oncological Peripheral Vascular Interventional Radiology from the Instituto Nacional de Ciencias Medicas y Nutricion Salvador Zubiran in Mexico on 2011.

Dr. Rafael Acuña Allen

Graduated with honors on radiology post degree at Universidad de Costa Rica in 2011. Completed a practice in Tomography and Body MRU in Hadassah Hebrew University Medical Center in Jerusalem, Israel. Has a post degree on creative direction granted on 2016.

Dr. Julio Jaén Hernández

Graduated from Radiology and Medical Imaging Post Degree at Universidad de Costa Rica in 1993. He is a founding member of the Asociacion Costarricense de Ultrasonido en Medicina. Counts with experience as assistant physician for the head of the Radiology Department in the Guapiles- Limon Hospital, becoming later on Specialty Assistant Physician at the Children’s Hospital Radiology Department. Has experience as chief of clinic between 1994 and 2005. Also as chief of Radiology on Hospital San Juan de Dios between 2005 and 2014. Currently exercising as a retired CCSS  physician and he is an active member at the Colegio de Medicos y Cirujanos de Costa Rica.

He works as a university professor. He is a member of the Costa Rican Association of Radiology and Medical Imaging and a member of the Society Skeletal Radiology.

Specialist in Radiology and Medical Imaging. Consultant in Magnetic Resonance and Computed Axial Tomography. Subspecialist in Neuro-radiology, Spine Imaging, Neuro-interventionism, Head and neck imaging, PET/CT imaging. Professor of Radiology at the University of Costa Rica. Postgraduate Professor of Neurology, Neurosurgery and Psychiatry at the University of Costa Rica.

Dr. José Vega Molina

Specialist in Radiology and Medical Imaging at the University of Costa Rica. Subspecialty in Neuro-radiology and Invasive Radiology. Graduated from Pierre and Marie Curie University in Paris, France. Former director of the Department of Radiology at Calderón Guardia Hospital. Founder and former director of the National Magnetic Resonance Center of the Costa Rican Social Security Fund. Former medicine professor at Universidad de Costa Rica, Universidad Autonoma de Centroamerica and Universidad en Ciencias Medicas in the Radiology School.  Currently dedicated, mainly to the analysis and radiological report of Neuro-imaging studies of both Doppler Ultrasound of cerebral arteries and neck, as well as multislice 3D CT of brain, neck, spine and body. He is also a specialist in Neuro-imaging with Conventional and Functional Magnetic Resonance.
